In studio covid measures
-
Class sizes will stay within current AHS recomendations.
-
Dancers are always encouraged to distance while in class for personal safety and comfort. Distancing will only be enforced when it is deemed mandatory by AHS.
-
Cleaning high touch surfaces takes place frequently and typically between class changes.
-
The foyer/viewing area will be open to parents and dancers with the understanding that distancing and masking is not a requirement and will only be maintained when required by AHS. When coming to the studio please choose your best level of comfort concerning distancing and masks.
-
Disinfectant will be available in the foyer and washrooms for anyone wishing to clean their own personal area. These spaces will be cleaned and disinfected frequently, but I want to offer you the option to feel the most at ease in the space.
-
Please choose your preferred comfort level when it comes to masks. You are welcome to wear a mask or not; your choice.
-
The studio will require parents to assess your child's health before attending class. Dancers with fever, vomiting, or diarrhea within 24 hours of class, excessive coughing or sneezing, or generally feeling unwell must refrain from attending class. Joining from home via zoom can be arranged if the child feels well enough to do so. This helps prevent illness spreading to other students and teachers.
-
Positive covid cases will not initiate an immediate studio shut down. Please do not attend for 14 days if you are covid positive or have been exposed to a positive case.
-
All props used in class will be disinfected between users and dancers are welcome to bring their own class items.
-
In case a dancer cannot attend classes due to any situation, in studio classes will be streamed via an online platform to allow them the ability to participate from home until they can return to class.
Policies may change if mandated by AHS.
Season 20/21 festival fees.
-
All festival fees have been credited to your accounts and will be applied to this seasons fees.
(graduating students I will be contacting you personally with options directly from the Festival companies for this situation)
I want to Thank you for your understanding and encouragement during the last 2 seasons.
As much as the dance studio is my passion and labor of love, it is a business that still has to be viable to continue.
Thank you for helping me to continue to make it viable and fight through this difficult time.
If you need any further clarification on any of these points or maybe something that has not been addressed please do not hesitate to contact me and ask.
Yours,
Miss Jaimie.
