Make up and Hair Instructions
- Slick sticks for smoothing fly aways is much gentler on the hair than gel. (Miss Alexi has these at her salon)
Hair nets on buns are MANDATORY.
**Hair falling out or becoming messy brings the marks down. Hair must be secured with many bobby pins.
Also be sure your costume is wrinkle free this also counts in the marking.
- Costumes CANNOT BE IRONED or washed. Steam must be used for smoothing.
If your costume becomes soiled ask Miss Jaimie and she can instruct you on how to clean it safely.
- No coloured bras unless specified by teacher. Please use a specific bra for costumes. No old bras you wear daily. The straps should lay flat, be adjustable and bras should be as seamless as possible. No lace or embellishments.
- Dance underwear should be beige, seamless, and of a cheeky or thong nature. Underalls (skin tone bodysuit)are fine to wear under all costumes if your dancer feels more comfortable. Other wise no underwear is required.
- You MUST have Extra tights. This is not an option. Damaged tights CANNOT be worn on stage.
Costume Lists
*beige tights can be light tan or suntan. Either are fine unless specifically listed under your group costume list.
*shoes need to be in good repair.
*match make up colours to your best ability no need to be perfect :)
Earrings for all dances - Single rhinestone stud medium to large size round or square- any shape is fine. Any brand is fine
Junes fantasy costumes has posts and clip ons.
amazon, shein, ardennes, etc.
stick ons will be provided for anyone without.
